This policy covers what happens to information you give this site.

What is collected

If you subscribe to the daily brief, your email address, and the fact that it came from this site.

If you request the Playbook, your name, email address, phone number, country and the intent option you selected.

Nothing else. There is no account, no password, and no profile.

Where it goes

Subscriber and lead information is stored in MailerLite, which handles the email sending. It is used to send you the brief, to send you the Playbook, and to follow up on the intent you selected. It is not sold, rented, or passed to any third party for their own marketing.

The calculators

The calculators run entirely in your browser. The numbers you type are never transmitted anywhere, are not stored, and are not visible to this site or to anyone operating it. Refresh the page and they are gone.

Live price refreshes

Four figures on this site refresh in your browser rather than at build time: gold, silver, Bitcoin and Ethereum. That means your browser makes a request directly to gold-api.com and to Kraken about once a minute while a page carrying those figures is open, and those providers can see your IP address and browser, exactly as they would if you visited their own sites. No information about you is sent to them by this site, because this site has none to send. If the requests fail or you block them, the figures published at the last build are shown instead and nothing else changes.

Every other figure is fetched by the build server, not by you.

Local storage

The site stores two small values in your browser's local storage and nothing else. One is a flag set when you subscribe, so that the rest of the brief stays visible on your next visit. The other records how you first arrived, if you followed a link carrying a campaign or referral tag, so that a signup can be traced to the link that produced it rather than to nothing at all. That value is taken from the address you arrived on, is reduced to letters, digits and dashes, and is capped at forty characters. Neither contains personal data, neither is readable by any other site, and clearing your browser data removes both.

Analytics and tracking

This site runs no analytics at all. No Google Analytics, no third party advertising trackers, no pixels, and no script that reports your visit anywhere. If that ever changes, this page will say what was added and what it collects before it is switched on.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe from any email with one click, using the link at the bottom of every message. You can ask for your data to be corrected or deleted at any time and it will be done. There is no retention argument to be had about a mailing list.

Cookies

The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own, and no cookies at all. Fonts are served from this domain rather than from a font network, so loading a page on this site tells no third party that you did.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the change will be noted on this page with a date, and subscribers will be told in the brief.
